Submit Your Stories

Do you have a creative health story which could inspire other people? I’m inviting you to share your lived experiences of creativity supporting your health and wellbeing. You don’t have to be professionally trained and your creative activity can be any art form or cultural activity, even cooking and gardening for example. Anything creative! Record your audio or written story and I’ll share it here on my website and maybe as part of a podcast episode.

For audio stories:
Record your story of up to 5 minutes long on your mobile phone (e.g. Voice Memos on iPhone or Voice Recorder app on Android). Then share it via the upload button below. File formats can be M4A, MP3 or WAV, with a max size of 10 MB.

For written stories:
Write a story of no more than 500 words and share it via the upload button below. File formats can be Word or PDF.

In your story tell me some things about you and what you do. For example:

  • Your name (anonymous is fine too), where you live, your age, your gender, your job, anything else interesting about you.
  • Describe what creative activities you do and the impact they have on your health or wellbeing.
  • How did you first get involved and how long have you been doing it?
  • Describe the activity and how it makes you feel. What do you get from it?
  • Tell me a story about it!
